Our motto: You’re Never too Old to Play Sports

·         Now that you have entered anecdotage, are you “acting your age”?  In other words, if you are in or nearing retirement, are you more slo-mo than go-go?

·         Has aging narrowed your interests, limited your fun, made you more sedentary?

·         And what about your friends?  They are probably lovely, but have you made any new ones in the last fifty years?

Don’t let the decades push you around!  Challenge aging, as the Age-Defying Athletes you will meet in this Substack have done.

ADAP

This site will tell stories and provide information from the Age-Defying Athletes Project (ADAP).  In the first phase of this Project, August-December 2023, I interviewed 74 men and women about their sport selections, preparation, playing, benefits, highs and lows, surprises, self-discovery, and much more.   Information about the respondents will splash, pedal, run, hop, swing, hit, catch, dink, jump, and rotate across this site in weeks to come.
